Meet Vita – A Survivor with a Big Personality

Vita’s journey hasn’t been easy. She came to us from a heartbreaking situation where her once-loving family fell apart, and sadly, her kitty family was torn apart as well. The part of the family that took her in eventually brought her to a vet clinic, requesting euthanasia—simply because her original owner no longer wanted the responsibility of caring for them. Thankfully, that wasn’t the end of Vita’s story.

Born on November 22, 2019, Vita arrived at our shelter on November 21, 2024, just one day shy of her fifth birthday. Understandably, she carries some emotional scars. To say she’s a little traumatized is putting it mildly—but behind those wary eyes is a cat who still hopes for kindness, safety, and a quiet place to call home.

Vita is up to date on her vaccines and physically healthy. Emotionally, she needs a special someone—someone with **patience, compassion, and a deep understanding of animals who have been let down**. She may take a while to settle in, and she’ll do best in a calm, stable environment where she can come out of her shell on her own terms.

Vita has a big personality. She’ll let you know exactly how she feels—she might adore your presence one moment and tell you off with a harmless little love bite the next (yes, she’s a bit of a diva, and yes, she’s as entertaining as she sounds).

If you’ve got the heart to love a cat who’s been through a lot, and the patience to let her set the pace, Vita might just be your perfect match. She doesn’t trust easily, but when she does, it’s genuine and real.

**Give Vita the chance to finally know what a forever home truly feels like. She deserves that... and so much more.**
