Meet Red! Red is FIV positive, and he is looking for his forever home! Don't let his being FIV + stop you from adopting this sweet boy! Did you know that FIV + kitties can live long, normal lives, and even with regular kitties! Get educated! We have attached a flyer to ready and there is a LOT of information online about FIV as well!
Red was found one cold morning, curled up in a garage, trying to stay warm. The owner of the home noticed that he had a wound and took him to a vet to be treated. He was, of course, scanned for a microchip, and there wasn't one. He was posted, and no one stepped forward as his owner. After he was released to the custody of the foster, he was put into the program of us!
He is in a foster home with his buddy Sox, who is also FIV positive, and they are the sweetest boys! He would do best in a quieter home that gives him time to settle in and get used to his surroundings. Once you gain his trust, he will be devoted to you forever! The vet says he is close to 2 years old. He would love a home to celebrate his birthday in!
