Meet Scout! She and her family came to us from a sad situation. They once had a family...family split up and split up the kitty family as well. The side of the family that came to us was asked to be euthanized at a local vet office because the actual owner decided he didn't want to care for them. To say they are a bit traumatized is an understatement. Two of her family went to a cat sanctuary as it was determined they were pretty feral! Scout on the other hand went to a foster home where she is learning how to be a kitty and not a feral kitty. While she still has a touch of feral she is making huge strides and now resides with a human for several hours a day! She loves to be petted! She will come to you when you call her. She LOVES a cat tree and the higher she can get the better! She is a great jumper! She has had several teeth removed but still has some and so she does eat dry food and needs can food as well. She is a bit picky on her wet food! But this princess can have whatever makes her happy since she has had such a hard life! All she wants is a home of her own and if you can let her come to you on her terms then perhaps your home is good for her! She does get along with small dogs and has tolerated another cat but patience is space is a virtue!
