Meet Scout! She came to us with several members of her feline family after a difficult upheaval left them without a home. Understandably, Scout needed time to adjust and learn that she could trust the people around her.

In foster care, Scout has made wonderful progress. She enjoys being petted and will come when called, but she still appreciates being able to approach people on her own terms. She LOVES her cat tree—the higher she can climb, the better—and she’s an impressive jumper!

Scout has had several teeth removed but still eats dry food as well as canned food, although she can be particular about her wet-food selections.

Scout has lived with a small dog and has tolerated another cat, although patience and plenty of space are important when introducing her to other animals.

If you are interested, then please fill out the application. Once you are approved, we will contact you to set up a meet and greet with you and her!

Our adoption package includes:

  • Spay/Neuter (when age appropriate)

  • Microchip

  • Full vetting (including up to date vaccinations & deworming)

  • FIV/FeLV testing
